Hi, I'm Tasch. I'm a poet, writer and multidisciplinary visual artist based in Montreal, QC, Canada. I work with observation as my medium, moving between writing, drawing, painting and photography. Each piece becomes a quiet trace of something witnessed: the micro-rhythms of nature, a feeling without words, the subtle language of the body, the spaces between moments that often go unseen.

My process doesn’t begin with a fixed idea, but with curiosity, a sensation, something that lingers long enough to be followed. From that place, I create to stay with experience, tracing both inner landscapes and the world around me, while letting each piece become a record of having noticed.

This way of working was shaped during an unexpected chapter in Australia, where a short visit became four years of immersion in landscape, solitude and the unknown. Through journals, poetry, sketches and watercolours, I learned to trust attention as both compass and collaborator.

For me, poetry is about giving words to the quiet places within and to the beauty all around us. My hope is that these poems can offer the same sense of meaning, depth and connection that poetry gave me when it helped me rediscover my own creative voice.
